Dialog Powers Disabled Sports Festival

Dialog Telekom has once again come forward as the main sponsor of the Disabled Sports Festival, a key event that showcases the sporting talents of Sri Lanka’s disabled war heroes.

Organised by the Army Disabled Sports Committee, the festival will be held on the 26th and 27th of March. This annual event is aimed at encouraging and promoting war heroes injured in battle, and to empower them to face the challenges of the future. Dialog Telekom has been the main sponsor of the event for three consecutive years.

“It is a privilege to have been part of the Disabled Sports Festival over the years, and for us this is an opportunity to give back in some measure to motivate and inspire our war heroes,” said Mr. Nushad Perera, Group Chief Marketing Officer of Dialog Telekom. “Commercial sponsorship is vital for any sport, and our Company has been actively championing the worthy cause of developing sports for the differently-abled. We believe such encouragement will enrich the lives and potential of these athletes who richly deserve support from every Sri Lankan.”
