Dialog Axiata PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, MyDoctor.lk and Avidhrt Inc. partner to launch Avidhrt Sense, the country’s first and only portable vital monitor, available to the Sri Lankan public. Avidhrt Sense is the only commercial product that offers a complete physiological monitoring solution for patients and health-conscious individuals.

Patients with suspected heart conditions, arrhythmia (primarily atrial fibrillation), or other heart-related illnesses, can use Avidhrt Sense to monitor cardiac rhythm, measure blood oxygen (SpO2) levels including hypoxia and measure body and ambient temperature. Health-conscious individuals can use Avidhrt Sense to monitor heart rate recovery and exercise capacity.

The device is primarily key for patients who have recently experienced heart surgery, cardiac stent placement, arrhythmia surgery or those that have recently suffered an embolic stroke, in order to continuously monitor and record their ECG. Additionally, understanding SpO2 levels, body and environmental temperature, can give further insight into other health conditions.

Further, the Avidhrt solution is inclusive of a mobile-based application (available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store) to manage and store baseline data, readings and general reports that can be sent directly to an on-demand healthcare network via service partner, MyDoctor, Sri Lanka’s pioneering digital health solution provider, for consultations or second opinions.

Dr. Robert Frank, CEO, Avidhrt said, “Avidhrt is pleased to partner with Dialog Axiata, PLC. Avidhrt is an innovative cardiac health company with offices in the US, Sri Lanka and India. The first commercial product of Avidhrt is an affordable, handheld cardiac monitor, powered by cloud-based machine learning technology. The innovative solutions created by Avidhrt are in synch with Dialog's focus to use emerging technologies such as IoT (Internet of Things), Big Data, Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence to transform lives.”
