Up Close and Personal with BnS

Bathiya and Santhush rocked out at Rathnapura to an excited crowd of cheering Club Vision members. From 6PM onwards, the Sabaragmuwa Central Library Audition was full of devoted fans of the dynamic music act. The upbeat tones and jubilant rhythm put the crowd in a good mood right from the start and their excitement only intensified as the evening went on. The lucky Club Vision members of Rathnapura received two complimentary tickets each. The second ticket could be used to bring anyone, regardless of whether they were a Club Vision member, thereby allowing the Club Vision members to treat their friends to a wonderful concert by one of Sri Lanka’s most famed music duos.

BnS shared the stage with the Queen of Sri Lankan hip-hop, Ashanthi, the dashing Randhir and the entrancing Umaria, giving the audience the treat of hearing more than just the songs they already knew from BnS. Their wild hip-hop stylings combined Sinhala, Tamil, English and Hindi rap verses to create a truly international performance that still had very clear Sri Lankan roots. Their performance was met with jubilant appreciation with the crowd joining in and singing along to some of their favorite melodies. When the concert finally ended late into the night, the energized crowd filed out, happily chatting about what a wonderful night they’d had and what a truly stellar performance it had been.
