Hutch joins eZ Cash
Sri Lanka's largest mobile money network connects 14 million Sri Lankans
Hutchison Telecommunications (Hutch) joined Dialog Axiata and Etisalat Lanka on Sri Lanka's pioneering mobile money network, eZ Cash, the world's first end to end inter-operable mobile money service.
The eZ Cash platform supporting Dialog, Etisalat and Hutch mobile users, will empower over 14 million customers who can now send and receive money to each other, and transact at a portfolio of over 16,000 eZ Cash merchants and over 100 online/web merchants. The entry of Hutch subscribers in to the eZ Cash Network is approved and endorsed by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

Dialog launched eZ Cash, Sri Lanka's first mobile money service in June 2012 under the aegis of the Payments and Settlements Act No. 28 of 2005. Custodial Banking Services for eZ Cash are provided by Hatton National Bank PLC, and further secured by a trust agreement administered by Deutsche Bank AG.
