The decisive final leg of the Asia Rugby Sevens Series will kick off at the Racecourse Grounds in Colombo on 10th October, as 19 international teams scrum down over the two-day tourney powered by Dialog. The final Sri Lanka leg of the Asia Rugby Sevens Series will be broadcast live on Dialog Television Channel number 1, and will also be available via live streaming at the ThePapare.com and the Dialog MyTV mobile app. Entrance will be free for the public at the grounds.

Asian rugby giants Japan will defend its 7s title against some stiff opposition, as Hong Kong, China, Sri Lanka, Taiwan the Philippines and the others promise some scintillating action. Sri Lanka are currently ranked 4th in the ongoing tourney.

The Asia Rugby Sevens Series is one of the most looked forward to events on the Asian rugby calendar, and the 2015 edition is worked off in three legs with rounds 1 and 2 played off in China and Bangkok, as the best of the participating nations took to the grounds for supremacy. In round two of the recently concluded Bangkok 7s, Japan beat South Korea 45-7 in a lopsided final. Sri Lanka secured fourth position after being beaten 33-7 by a strong Hong Kong outfit.
