Dialog Powers 39th Mercantile Rugby Sevens

The 39th Mercantile Rugby Sevens tournament will kick off on Friday 16th October, powered once again by Dialog Television – continuing its unstinted support for the game in Sri Lanka. The three-day tournament will be worked off at the CR & FC Grounds in Colombo.

“Dialog TV is proud to be part of the action at the Mercantile Sevens,” said Mr. Suren Goonewardene, its Chief Operating Officer. “Rugby is a passion amongst a large section of sports enthusiasts, and it is this keenness we share every year as we scrum down with the sevens,” he said.

The Mercantile Rugby Sevens is a much looked forward to event in the local sports calendar, with the cream of the corporate rugby fraternity roughing it out for the Cup, Plate, Bowl and Shield championships.
