Dialog Showcases the Future of Technology at YGC Innovation Festival 2024

Held at the Jaffna Cultural Centre, the event was a tremendous success, attracting more than 25,000 visitors. It celebrated the region’s spirit of innovation with competitions, including school student innovation, pitch, robotics, and coding, as well as expos, master classes, and cultural performances. Dialog captivated attendees in Jaffna with a suite of immersive and interactive experiences. Highlights included Virtual Reality (VR) Bungee Jumping, where participants experienced the thrill of a freefall from the iconic Lotus Tower in Colombo within a safe, controlled environment. Additionally, the VR Cycling Adventure allowed attendees to virtually explore Lake Gregory in Nuwara Eliya, offering a realistic and scenic experience. The company also introduced AI-powered greeting cards that generate dynamic, personalised content, showcasing how AI can enhance digital interactions.

In line with its vision of delivering ‘The Future.Today', Dialog showcased a Robotic Arm with advanced AI and machine learning capabilities, demonstrating the practical applications of robotics in real-world scenarios and further illustrating Dialog’s leadership in bringing futuristic technologies to life. The TEMI Robotic Assistant, featuring advanced object and human tracking with intelligent navigation, was another crowd favourite, providing a glimpse into how robots could integrate into everyday tasks, making them more efficient and interactive. Additionally, Dialog introduced a Tamil GenAI Chatbot, an AI-driven chatbot that communicates entirely in Tamil, offering multilingual support and enhancing visitor engagement through user-friendly information accessible via a QR code.
