Final Leg of Asia Rugby 7s Powered by Dialog Kicks-off this Weekend

Feel the Speed and Power of 7s rugby action this September, as the highly anticipated leg of the Asia Rugby Sevens Series, powered by Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, Dialog Axiata, will kick-off on 28th and 29th September at the picturesque Racecourse Grounds, Colombo.

The final Sri Lankan leg of the Asia Rugby Sevens Series will be broadcast live on Dialog Television channel number 77, and will also be available via live stream at the ThePapare.com and the Dialog MyTV mobile app. Entrance will be free for the public at the grounds. On Saturday 28th October, the tournament will kick-off from 1.30 pm. onwards, while the following day matches will commence at 10.00 am.

Asian rugby giants Japan will defend its men’s and women’s 7s title against some stiff opposition, as Hong Kong, China, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, the Philippines and others promise some heart-pounding action. The Tuskers are expected to make further inroads in Colombo, after their spirited performance in Korea and China.

Sri Lanka will play their first game against South Korea on 28th Saturday at 2.58 pm and the second game against Hong Kong at 6.38 pm under lights.
