Technical Support Scam
Content Scammers call pretending to be from the technical support team of a utility, technology provider, or even your mobile operator. They claim there is a technical issue with your device or service and insist they need remote access or payment to fix it.
They may also ask you to install malicious applications on your mobile device or PC, giving them access to your personal or financial information.
