Manudam Mehewara Continues to Support Vulnerable Families in Moratuwa, Vavuniya, Batticaloa, Kandy & Matara

The Manudam Mehewara initiative, launched to support vulnerable families and communities across Sri Lanka amidst the ongoing economic crisis, continued its efforts in providing aid to families in-need by distributing emergency relief in Moratuwa, Vavuniya, Batticaloa, Kandy and Matara areas.
To date, over 120,000 families in-need across all 25 districts of the country have been facilitated with emergency relief through this humanitarian alliance. The Manudam Mehewara initiative is a multi-corporation humanitarian alliance initiated by Dialog Axiata PLC, MAS Holdings, Hemas Holdings PLC, Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement, and PwC Sri Lanka, with the support of corporate partners CBL Group, Citibank, Sunshine Holdings PLC, Huawei Technologies Lanka Co., Pvt Ltd, Unilever Sri Lanka, and corporate donors London Stock Exchange Group and Roar Global.
The purpose of the Manudam Mehewara initiative is to assist vulnerable families and communities across the country until a sustainable benefit transfer system is established through an effective economic recovery plan. The initiative invites all Sri Lankans and corporates to unite in this shared mission and contribute towards making a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by the crisis.
