Yes, 5G is designed to be more secure than earlier network generations. 5G networks use advanced security features such as stronger encryption and improved authentication to better protect your data and privacy. For the best security experience, ensure your device software is up to date and supports 5G.
You can switch off 5G by:
- Going to 'Mobile Networks' or 'Network Settings' on your device
- Selecting 4G as your preferred network
This will allow your phone to use 4G instead of 5G.
- This feature is available for Unlimited Blaster and Fun Blaster customers and is ON by default.
- Feature ON :- Social media can be used without using Anytime Data at standard SD quality (360p).
- Feature OFF :- Social media will use Anytime Data or Pay-As-You-Use, allowing higher speeds and 5G where available.
- To get faster speeds and experience Dialog 5G, customers can turn OFF the SD Quality Feature in the MyDialog App.
- Data will be charged for Social media through the Anytime data plan or Pay As You Use.
